Patrick Heraty, MS, MBA, first joined the CITRS team as a Coach/Mentor and Funds Manager of Western New York. His roles were to facilitate successful implementation of the Character Counts! Initiative in the Buffalo Public Schools; identify new schools that want to participate in the initiative; identify potential funding sources to sustain the CC! - CITRS initiative. Patrick believes that successfully implemented character-development programs will benefit our students in the character, social-emotional, and academic elements of their lives. The skills and behaviors that the students develop will also provide long-term benefits to our communities and to future generations. He now serves as an advisor to the team.
Patrick earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marquette University, and master’s degrees from Canisius College. He is a retired professor of business and is an organizational development consultant. Patrick is a certified trainer/facilitator in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and Emotional Intelligence. He is also certified in six sigma (black belt).
