Character Education Workshops
Audit of Character Development Initiative
Description: A successful, comprehensive, school-wide Character Development initiative affects all stakeholders - students, staff, leadership, families, and community members. This workshop will help schools conduct a comprehensive audit of their character initiative, including a detailed look at all that is going well and areas for further growth.

Building a Vision
Description: A shared vision lets a school know where it’s heading and what’s possible; it gives all stakeholders a roadmap, and builds a deep sense of hope, enthusiasm, connectedness, and purpose. Initial Character Presentation and Interactive Exercise
Description: Character, Integrity, Trust, Relationships, and Success (the CITRS acronym and teaching model), a detailed overview of the field of Character Development, and a unique interactive exercise will be covered in this workshop. Mission Statement and Core Values
Description: A clear, concise Mission Statement and Core Values are hallmarks of the very best schools. This engaging and interactive workshop will help schools identify and, in turn, better communicate “what they do daily” and “who they are,” i.e., the non-negotiable things they stand for.

Culture and Climate Workshops
Assessing Your School’s Culture and Climate
Description: CITRS will provide two online measurement tools and results reports to help you assess your school’s culture and climate. The CITRS Multi-Dimensional survey is a validated tool administered to admin/faculty/staff, students and parents and assesses the variables most predictive of highly successful schools. The CITRS Reflections Tool gives your school qualitative insights on your culture and climate from a character lens.

Description: School climate and connectedness are interrelated. When there is a sense of connectedness within a school, it becomes a place where all present desire to be there and where engagement and productivity are at their best for both students and adults. A school culture that values relationships creates a sense of community and shared purpose. This workshop will examine how relationships between students and school staff are at the heart of school connectedness and provide strategies to develop a positive culture and climate centered on relationship building.
